Ecological Agriculture

We grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in a one-acre market garden, tap 200 maple trees, and tend three beehives high in the Allegheny Mountains of northern West Virginia. Our homegrown produce is raised with attention to the well-being of our farm's ecosystem and the environmental, social, and economic world beyond. We build living soil with compost, mulch, and cover crops, and control weeds, pests, and disease with rotation, row-cover, and organic-approved biological pesticides. We also seek to build a resilient community economy by purchasing supplies and services locally, and selling locally to supporters like you.
