Maryland Line Farm

Homegrown produce and maple syrup
from Hazelton, West Virginia

Ecological Agriculture

We're a small family farm set high in the Allegheny Mountains of northern West Virginia. We raise fruits and vegetables in a one-acre market garden, tap four acres of maple trees, and are building a sheep flock and large blueberry patch. Our homegrown produce is raised with care for the well-being of our farm's ecosystem and the environmental, social, and economic world beyond. We build living soil with compost, mulching, and cover crops. And we control weeds, pests, and disease with rotation, row-cover, and organic-approved biological pesticides. We also seek to build a resilient community economy by purchasing supplies and services locally, and selling locally to supporters like you.
